Trolling motor creates noise on fish finder screen. Both on same marine battery. How do I filter noise?

I only have one battery so is it possible to filter noise on fish finder coming from power cord?

you can try a stereo noise filter could help on the power supply other than that theres not much you can do. the stereo filter are pretty cheap so give it a try it worked on my marine cb.

    I would first determine if filtering would even resolve the problem. This is most easily done by ‘borrowing’ another battery to power just the fish finder to make sure this fixes the problem. Then, still using both batteries, connect a jumper wire between the two negative terminals. If this fish finder still works ok, a filter would probably resolve the problem. A filter is typically just a choke and a capacitor or two that you would wire into the positive lead to the fish finder. You could also put one in the negative lead or use a "common mode" filter that filters both lines. A car stereo or two-way radio shop would be a good place to find a filter.
